• To increase awareness among community members and local authorities of gender issues, women’s and child’s rights, HIV/AIDS, migration risks, and violence against women and children
• To improve knowledge about issues relating to violence against women, such as internal and cross-border migration
• To ensure that the needs of victims of domestic violence, rape and sex trafficking are properly addressed and assistance provided
• To reduce the impunity of perpetrators of domestic violence, rape and sex trafficking
• To strengthen networks with NGOs working on women’s and children’s rights at both provincial and national levels
