The Cambodian Human Rights and Development Association (ADHOC) organized a training on 04 May 2015, which aims at strengthening the capacity of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Officers.
In his opening statement of the training in Phnom Penh, Mr. Thun Saray, President of ADHOC, said the four-day workshop will be an opportunity to exchange experiences among ADR officers, who are working in different provinces, and to discuss weaknesses of existing ADR mechanisms.
ADR mechanisms, which were launched in 2013, aim at improving access to justice for Cambodian people by strengthening in and out-of-court dispute resolution mechanisms, and creating a foundation for dialogue and cooperation between local authorities and grassroots organizations.
