On 26 April 2010 at 8:00 PM Mr. Pich Sphon, 60 victim of land chronical dispute at O’Achoy in village of Chamlorng Romaingleu, commune of O’Samrel, Salot district, Battambang province, against soldier, he was shot death suddently with 7 bullets of AK 47: one bullet in chest, one bullet in joint of his hand, he was died at 20-25m far from home after short running, before killing he was a key witness of Mr Sin Mey who is a representative of people in land dispute of three separated site in Samlot: 2 sites of land disputed with regional military no. 5, and other one with Korean company, Mr. Sim Mey was also shot injured by unknown last week then Mr. Sophon to be a key witness in front of authority to clarify that about the event of shooting of Mr. Sim Mey. Mr. Sophon was also killed in the same place by unknown.
According to conclusion of adhoc and authority that perpetrator may be more than 2 people and the perpetrator were the same like before this case also happened in 2007 was reported that soldier set up an ambush of mines along the way to village, and one boy was also shot injured seriously dated back to 2007. Now police found 7 (cartriches) shell of AK 47 arround the accident place. This land case until now is not yet taken action and resolved by authority.
