ADHOC assisted repatriation of a onetrafficking victim from Malaysia back to Cambodia

On 8^th October 2015, ADHOC assisted in the repatriation of one trafficking victim back to Cambodia. A victims, Kh. S. V. live with a poor widow at Thkul village, Treong Sla commune, Sa Ang district, Kandal Province.

She went to work as a housemaid in Malaysia by one legal recruitment agency in 2011, since that she never allow to contact family with no paid, the recruitment agency force to continue the contract and force to work.

After ADHOC received complaints from the victims’ families, ADHOCintervened to the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 08^th April 2015 and intervene to the company in Malaysia to return the victims back to Cambodia with some salary. ADHOC keep follow up the case.
